Perfect spot to have lunch before a visit to the Met. Tasty, sizable portions big enough for two people to share. Recommend the Turkey BLT and the fish tacos. Great service and relaxing atmosphere too.

Always love a good Penrose brunch, but recently went for their Late Night menu (served until 2am!) for the first time. It was a great lively atmosphere as usual, but the highlight was definitely our waitress. She was quick and attentive--when we were paying, a man approached our table and started pestering us. She was super speedy in closing our tab and fielding him away, and told us to get her if he gave us any more trouble. She was such a sweetheart and really made our night!

lively delicious dinner bite in the upper east side! menu was priced well ($15-20 for entree, $15 for cocktails). the turkey club was one of the tastiest clubs I have had in my life! the servers were friendly and attentive. they play music fairly loud and the vibe is quite upbeat. they have several tables inside, a long bar, and outdoor seating. definitely worth checking out for the cool urban interior and fun atmosphere!

I have to say I really like this place. I met the manager Matt and had a great conversation with him. One photo I don't have is of the straight fried onions. They are green onions with the stem attached. I am an onion ring connoisseur and these were different and so delicious. I love crunching into the bulb part. The band was playing some really good music but I'm saddened to say that nowadays people don't appreciate live music. It seemed like the better the band got the louder people started talking to each other and yelling at each other. Sometimes you just need to stop and listen to the music. Great jazz band.
